I have described some of the place here-

Nuwara Eliya-

The tea production capital of India is the perfect place to tour around the plantation. It was previously referred to as Little England for serving as a retreat for the Britishers. Explore some popular places like Victoria Park, Bale Bazaar, Adma Agro Farm, Ambewala Farm, St. Clair’s Falls and Lake Gregory.

Yala National Park-

You can go for a safari ride to spot the animals like leopards, water buffaloes, and elephants. The density of leopards is higher than any other place. Apart from the wild animals, you can also visit the Sithulpauwwa (rock temple) and Magul Maha Viharaya (a royal marriage place).

Kandy-

Central highlands in Kandy are famous for tea and rubber plantation. Kandy is also famous for the Temple of the Tooth Relic. It is one of the most sacred and popular Buddhist Temple in the world.

Galle-

Galle fort was built during 17th century by the Dutch colonialists. Some of the other popular places to visit are the Maritime Museum, the St. Mary’s Cathedral, Unawatuna Beach, oldest lighthouse of Sri Lanka and Shiva temple.

Arugum bay-

Arugam Bay is the most popular surf spot in Sri Lanka. It features as one of the top ten surf destinations of the world.

To travel in budget, keep these three things in mind-

Accommodation: Use websites like www.airbnb.com, www.booking.com, and www.agoda.com for places to spend the night, keeping the expense as low as 100 SAR at most of the places. However, there are a few places where you to pay more. Search for homes that provide free breakfast, free Wi-Fi, and free laundry.

Food: You should go for the accommodation that provides free breakfast. A bottle of water costs 1$, so you can arrange your budget accordingly.

Transport: Bus and train system connects the different part so of the country. Buy a local sim outside the airport and ask your hotel for directions to travel.
